Job Description:
UMC Mukilteo, WA Essential Job Functions:Developing, writing,
and designing proposal submittals, including creating unique
benefits, messages, and themes; and culling and editing content
developed by technical/lead staff. Candidates should be
detail-oriented ensuring quality control of proposals.Planning,
facilitating, and documenting interview prep meetings. Developing
and ensuring compliance with shortlist interview requirements,
including interview development schedules, outlines, and
assignments.Developing visuals and graphs to support proposal
submittals and interview material content. Creating, writing, and
tailoring employee, project, and qualification collateral,
including proposals, resumes, cut sheets, and project
profiles.Maintaining proposal and interview document templates;
ensuring template formats are on brand and accurately and
consistently applied.Maintaining staff resumes, project profiles,
and other standard collateral.Participating in the data entry and
maintenance of the client relationship database [Cosential - now
Unanet]. Conducting pursuit close-out activities (e.g., master
content updates, file clean-up, updating data in CRM,
etc.).Coordinating people and project photography; processing for
marketing use. Supporting market research efforts, as
necessary.Assisting in ensuring the UMC brand is represented with
consistency and adheres to graphic and voice standards. Secondary
Job Functions: Participating in planning and coordinating
corporate, client, community, and project-specific
events.Participating in the creative support and execution of
marketing campaigns. Collaborate with the communications team on
major project milestones, wins, and other such items that are
important for external/internal communications. Basic Skills &
Qualifications to Perform the Essential Duties of the Job:
Bachelor's Degree in English, Communications, Journalism,
Marketing, Business, or a related field or equivalent; or
equivalent combination of education and experience.1-3 years of
experience in a marketing role, preferably in the architectural,
engineering, and construction (AEC) industry.Excellent written and
oral communication skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal,
and time management skills. Self-starter with ability to stay
organized, focused, and collaborative in a deadline-driven
environment. Attention to detail and quality. Team-player,
collaborative, resourceful, and positive can-do attitude. Ability
to work efficiently and independently under pressure. Experience in
Adobe Creative Suite (specifically, InDesign, Illustrator, and
Photoshop) or other similar programs; and Microsoft Office Suite
(Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Preferred
Qualifications:Experience with Cosential (now Unanet) or other
database platforms is a plus.Marketing experience in the
architectural, engineering, and construction (AEC)
industry.Supervisory Responsibility: None. Additionally:Strong
