UMC Mukilteo, WA Starting Salary Range: $95,000- $110,00 DOEUS Applicants Only General Position Summary: Develop, coordinate, and implement energy efficient strategies for building control systems, HVAC equipment, and building operations.Essential Job Functions:1. Conduct EPA Energy Star Benchmarks through portfolio manager 2. Conduct building tune-ups3. Develop Energy Management, O&M, Capital, and Training Plans to support Clean Building Compliance requirements4. Develop, coordinate and implement strategies to reduce energy consumption and operations & maintenance labor (ECM's & LCM's) for UMC clients5. Conduct building operational assessment projects6. Carry out site inspections and energy surveys (Envelope, Electrical, HVAC, Lighting, Refrigeration, Water) 7. Provide technical and practical advice and offer training on energy efficiency strategies to UMC clients8. Conduct and coordinate set up and implementation of Analytical FDD applications through UMC's preferred software option(s)9. Work with FDD supplier to ensure full implementations of FDD rules, insights, faults, KPI's, energy reports, virtual metering10. Conduct job walks with UMC salespeople and clients to assist in strategy and pricing of tune-ups, assessments and audits11. Create custom technical reports and meet with UMC analytics clients on a regular basis to help them improve operations and maintenance of their facilities12. Regular attendance and promptness are considered part of each employee's essential job functions. Skills Required to Perform the Essential Duties of the Job: 1.Thorough understanding of DDC control systems, building systems, HVAC equipment and building operations2.Ability to interface with UMC sales team, operations team and clients at the C level, the D level, building engineers and property managers.3.Strong customer service and customer relationship skills.4.Troubleshooting, start-up, or commissioning/ retro-commissioning of mechanical systems.Education/ Experience Requirements Needed to Perform the Essential Duties of the Job:1.In- depth knowledge of building systems including DDC control systems (BACnet preferred)2.Minimum of 5 years' experience in building controls sales, installation or operations3.Bachelor's degree in computer science, construction management, mechanical engineering or sustainable building science preferredLicensing or Other Special Certifications Required: 1. Maintain a valid Drivers' License and satisfactory driving record. 2. Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification preferred3. Level II Building Operator Certification BOC preferred4. Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) preferred5.
